The Beginnings of My Journey into Business, Health and Enlightenment
I’ts been exactly 4 months to the day (121 days) that I started my new life venture . What had I learned? What had I accomplished? Was I progressing? What had I experienced? See how My Journey continues…
First, It’s time to evaluate .
The list I put together was astonishingly huge. It was too massive for a post, so I decided to shorten it into something more manageable. Here then is what I learned, experienced and felt.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
3 marketing strategies:
Blogging – I created my own website/blog (which you are in), learned WordPress (the tool or software needed to create the website), how to set up pages, publish posts, insert pictures into the posts, insert links into the posts, make pretty links, connect my posts to Facebook, LinkedIn and Google.
In total, I published 29 posts and 6 pages. An additional 11 draft posts are waiting to be completed. And there is so much more to learn…
Solo Ads – this involved learning and researching how to find solo ad providers, asking the right questions so as to get quality providers, writing actual copy (swipes) for the ads, and launching campaigns.
In total, I launched 4 campaigns that went out to a total of 600 people and resulted in 1 sale. And there is so much more to learn…
I also learned to use AWeber, an autoresponder / email marketing system needed in and online business to establish and maintain good relationships with customers, prospects and followers. In total I created 35 follow up emails. And there is so much more to learn…
Facebook – I created both a personal page and a Fan Page and am in the process of learning how to advertise on Facebook.
In total I have 240 friends and 53 fans and have published posts and inspirations at least 3 times a week in both my Personal Page and my Fan Page. And there is so much more to learn…
Do I need to pick one?
(All the coaches and experts in online marketing say to pick one strategy and master that one. Boy I tried, but in all of the materials that were out there and all the possibilities, the road took me to blogging, solo ads, and Facebook advertising . Do I need to pick one? Which one would I choose? A good topic for another post.)
I participated in 100+ webinars and training, at least one per day, all of which taught me so much about these strategies, Internet Marketing, and business in general.
My business is progressing and definitely on its way to success.
AND I absolutely Love My Business. I see what I’ve accomplished 4 months, how excited I am about the progress, the amount of potential that exists to succeed and I’m definitely psyched.

Being healthy…
has become much more important these last few years. I remember when I was younger and all I heard the “old” people talk about was their health. OMG, didn’t they have anything else to talk about? Funny how things change over time, because now I find myself, if not talking about health issues with others, definitely thinking about and now doing something about it. Being healthy is the key to Living the Good Life.
So what has improved in my health since the beginning of My Journey into Health
I’ve lost 3 pounds; In January I walked 14 times during the month; In February I walked 9 times during them month; I drink nutritional drinks made in my NutriBullet 3-4 times per week; I started a weekly yoga class.
My health is getting better every day.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++My Enlightenment
According to philosopher Immanuel Kant from the 18th century, “Enlightenment is man’s emergence from his self-incurred immaturity.” He argues that the immaturity is self-inflicted not from a lack of understanding, but from the lack of courage to use one’s reason, intellect, and wisdom without the guidance of another. He exclaims that the motto of enlightenment is “Sapere aude“! – Dare to be wise!
According to Lao Tzu, a philosopher and poet from Ancient Chine (604 BCE-531 BCe) “Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is Enlightenment.“
According to Idries Shah, and Indian author, “Enlightenment must come little by little – otherwise it would overwhelm.“
And according to others, there are two indications that a transformation is taking place within you toward a higher consciousness. The first symptom is that you stop worrying. Things don’t bother you anymore. You become light-hearted and full of joy. The second symptom is that you encounter more and more meaningful coincidences in your life, more and more synchronicities. This accelerates to the point where you actually experience the miraculous.
