The First Plan

So I had my realizations. But now it’s time to get on to the next phase. I need to Formulate a Plan and start implementing what I learned so far.  I have so much more to learn, but now learning is going to have to share its time with implementing.

Before committing to my implementation plan for January however, I have to evaluate my progress so far. What did I do in November and December? Well, my overall plan in the goals workbook I developed when I first joined the business

  • purchase  License no later than 11/26/14 and
  • Learn (and commit to a) traffic strategy by 12/31/14

Yeah! I accomplished both those things and so much more. The list of accomplishments is so long it would require another post (which I may do), but for now it’s enough to measure what I committed to before. I also realize how under detailed my  plan back then was compared to how much detail it will have going forward.

So much for the evaluation. Now for the future.  All business gurus seem to agree that a Plan is necessary in order to succeed and the more specific the Plan is the better the results will be. So I started my plan along the lines of JT Debolt’s suggestion to create a theme for the year, I decided mine would be

The Year of the Start-ups:

  1. MY HEALTH
  2. MY ENLIGHTENMENT

Although the Plan and specific activities that follow only deal with My Business Start-Up, I have a feeling that accomplishing these business activities will somehow transfer to my other 2 start-ups for 2015. These then are the items I’m committing to in January 2015:

 BLOG:

  • Finish posts on Realizations, Reviews,  Advertise conferences and Publish:
  • Write and publish 3 new posts/week including one that promotes a  product
  • Create my own list  by buying Aweber and implementing it
  • Get third party tracker and set it up
  • Research places to post the blog to get traffic and Commit to implementing at least 2 of them

SOLO ADS

  • Purchase Solo Ad targeting people who are retired – per my AVATAR
  • Prepare 30 follow up emails in AWeber to get ready for own list
  • Research squeeze pages and develop/buy one for own campaign

Can’ wait to see the result and evaluate at the end of January.
